Narrative
1917. Fleeing famine and war in Poland, Rebecca arrives in Brazil, reunites with her husband, and begins a new life. However, contrary to promises of happiness, the reality she faces in Rio de Janeiro is completely different. She discovers that her husband has passed away and ends up becoming a hostage in a vast network of prostitution and human trafficking.
