Sawyer’s character was originally intended to be a dapper, suit-wearing, older urban hustler from Buffalo, New York. However, when Josh Holloway forgot a line in his audition and subsequently kicked a chair in frustration and swore loudly, the writers liked the edge it gave Sawyer’s character and decided to write Sawyer as a darker, southern drifter. and Sun are married and share the last name “Kwon,” which becomes a major plot point in the final season.

This is a really good show with really good writers. There are a lot of subplots that keep you interested and waiting for the next week for more answers to the many growing mysteries surrounding the island where a group of survivors of a plane crash are shipwrecked. I also like how the writers approach each main character’s story making them more interesting to the watcher.
This seems to be a success
There are a lot of mysterious goings on on the island and a lot of drama between the characters on the show. It’s great to have some television that doesn’t involve CSIs, cops, lawyers or doctors!
