Narrative
When maple syrup farmer Ruth Landry finds her livelihood under attack by greedy competitors who were once her friends, she concocts a scheme to exact revenge and shake up the industry..

The show deserves a higher rating ;but cutting off the season at 6 episodes just so they could make 2 seasons was a garbage decision by whoever decided on it.I get cliffhangers are all the rage ;but how many times have shows not been renewed and the people who enjoy the show been letdown?I can't count on one hand how many shows I think were amazing ;but ended with an unresolved cliffhanger.
Evil Dead and Last Man On Earth ;but there are MANY more I could list (even if just to fill the stupid 600 letter requirement)
often these days.This entire story could have been told in a 10 episode season ;but they'll drag it out to give us 6 more episodes..
